Purchase Raffle Tickets - Chance to win the Amillë Shawl - by Millard Fontenot

Millard Fontenot (Mill) is the namesake of the scholarship fund and his surviving partner, Kerry has generously offered one of Mill’s hand-knit, lace shawls to raffle off to help raise scholarship funds for the Men’s Knitting Retreats.

The shawl will be displayed at each of the regional Men’s Knitting Retreats, returning back to the Men’s Fall Retreat in Federal Way, Washington (near Seattle) on Labor Day weekend of 2024, where a winner will be chosen.

All proceeds of ticket sales (and additional donations) will go toward the Millard Fontenot Memorial Scholarship Fund.

The shawl is a very generously sized 90″ (228 cm) by 21″ (53 cm). Mill used a pattern called Amillë by Emily Ross and the yarn is 100% superwash Merino wool called Lace Garn from Rohrspatz & Wollmeise in colorway, “Ruby Thursday” and added silver-lined, ruby colored glass beads from Dreamstone Bead Co. in Rancho Cucamunga (Size 8).
